Had lunch today at the Whistlestop Restaurant - it was great - and recommend you do the same. Went to visit the ajacent museum and met Mr. Harold Harvey. What a great time! Mr. Harvey is knowledgable, personable and a great host. He took great pains to show and discuss many of the displays. I spent 40 years in the railroad business and have visited numerous museums over the years, many times accompanied by my wife. This is the FIRST one she ever really enjoyed, due in large part to Mr. Harvey. Many thanks for a great time.

Visited your excellent restaurant(loved the "John Henry!!) and musuem today. What a collection of railroad memorabilia!! Harold H. was very informative and gave us a great personal tour. Lots of great history, information and background. Highly recommended for anyone that likes train "stuff"... there's so much it's almost overload! Wish that I would have saved room for some pie! It looked awesome! Great place and great time. Keep up the good work.

I have a love of railroads that goes back many years. It was such a surprise to see this place. We enjoyed the museum and Harold the curator while waiting to dine. Looking forward to bringing more of my family back here. The food was wonderful and the prices were great for a family restaurant. Definitely would recommend this place to all railroad fanatics.

We visited on Friday and had a great time with the museum. The curator, Harold, is definitely the best man to run this museum. His knowledge and stories were wonderful and added to this most interesting history of RR. Thank you.

I visited the Whistle Stop Restaurant and Museum April 28, 2010, with a group of ladies from Kokomo and Lafayette. We had a very good lunch prior to touring the museum. The museum collections are wonderful and brought back many memories of my travels on the Monon in the 1950's.

I highly recommend a visit to the Whistle Stop Restaurant and Museum. Our guide had much knowledge of the railroad and made the tour extremely interesting.

Visited with my Dad. Both restaurant and museum were fabulous! Best sandwich I ever ate! Tour guide was so informative. I will be bringing my grandsons the next time they come to visit.
