Visited the museum/restaurant yesterday and was thoroughly impressed! It is amazing that so much railroad history is preserved in one location. Harold went out of his way to tell the stories of pieces inside and outside the museum. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area and recommend this place to anyone interested in railroad history. Good folks in Monon!

Being a retired Ohio railroader from former NYC, PennCentral, then ConRail, I enjoy visiting the Monon Connection Museum. My wife & I visited a year ago. This week I am bringing my 10 y/o grandson. I know we will have a good time. Thank you for preserving this part of history.

I have been to the museum twice now and I am very impressed with all of the information that is in the museum. I really enjoyed the tour of the caboose outside as well. My youngest son who is 4 loves all of the railroad gates on the property. Thank you for preserving our history with the railroad. I am truly a huge railroad buff myself.

I was second trick operator at the Monon Depot most of the time during 1958-59 and ate all me meals across the street at Buckley's resturant. Had many friends there who are all gone by now. Last saw Bessie Buckley and Ed Graves in the late 70's and have many fond memories of Monon and the Monon depot. I left to go back to Minn. and went to work on the N.P. I have since retired and have not had the chance to get back to Monon, but did stop at Linden this spring.

My husband and I visited your museum with another couple yesterday. We spent the biggest part of the day there and enjoyed it so much, especially since we had a guide to tell us so many things that we wouldn't have known without his knowledge. We ended with a delicious meal in the Whistle Stop, where the atmosphere and help is so pleasant. We will be back.

Great place for kids! My son is a train fanatic and he's now obsessed with this restaurant and museum. It's so much fun, we'll be eating there tonight!
